My stranger no. 2 is a lovely couple. They are Matteo and Daniela from Italy whom I met in Bromo, Indonesia, in August 2010.
Matteo said that he had been to many other places but had never seen something like the one in Bromo. They loved it and they were looking forward to be picked up at 3am the next morning to ride the 4×4 jeep to Mount Pananjakan to watch the sun rises. The weather was good the next morning, so I bet they enjoyed the beautiful sunrise there. They spent one night in Bromo and moved on to Ijen Crater the next day.
By the way, when asked about volcanoes in Italy, Matteo mentioned about Mount Vesuvius whose eruption long time ago buried the ancient city of Pompeii.
Even though Italy does not have something like Bromo, I told them that I love seeing pictures of Tuscany with its beautiful landscape. Maybe I will meet them there one day. 🙂
What a lovely picture!!
i really like your 100 strangers project!
thanks for the sharing!
I also really like your 100 strangers project and thanks for sharing. This is something that I would like to do because I either shoot secretly or ask for permssion, take one shot and then leave. I need to work on my social skills, so this project will force me to break out of my shell.
This is just sooo beautiful. And I totally dig the 100 strangers project! too bad we kinda know each other or I could be no.37 or something.
Thank you thank you everyone. 🙂
Gorgeous!
