Children is one of my favorite subjects. I have mentioned here earlier that I started photoblogging since my daughter was born in 2005. While it’s nice to have children posing for you and looking at the camera, you can also photograph them while they are not. Shoot them while they are playing, laughing, giggling, sleeping, etc. Look for those expressions that you will cherish for many years to come.
The four photos above were taken when my daughter was playing on her bed before her bedtime. She played with her mommy who tickled her and made her giggled almost continuously. I set the exposure manually as the room lighting was constant and increased the ISO to 6400 since the room was not very bright and to have high enough shutter speed to freeze her movement.
